is one of Southern California’s leading non-profit performing arts
organizations. We perform in two theatres: one in the charming island
community of Coronado, the other in downtown San Diego's vibrant
Gaslamp Quarter. Our mission is To Tell Good Stories Well.
We are committed to:
Lamb’s Players is an artist-directed company providing a home for a
resident company of actors, directors and designers. You will see the
work of a group of artists who have worked together over 20 years –
and each year you’ll also meet new faces.
The theatre maintains an active Educational Outreach, annually taking
Touring performances to tens of thousands of students in schools
throughout the Southwest.
Along with presenting the classics and lesser known gems of the theatre, LPT has produced over 38 World Premieres and more than 35 Regional Premieres.
You’ll find our beautiful and intimate 350 seat theatre in Coronado’s historic Spreckels Building just two blocks north of the world famous Hotel del Coronado. An annual 5-play Season runs February through November, with December filled with a variety of Christmas productions.
We also produce longer running shows at downtown's sparkling gem of a theatre, the Horton Grand Theatre in the vibrant Gaslamp Quarter. And each December we invite you to step back 100 years for An American Christmas in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel del Coronado.
Each year we set out a wide-ranging theatrical banquet, served from a varied and delicious menu – zesty musicals, robust dramas, rich comedies and adventurous world premieres.
We look forward to your visit.
