The Endowment Trust
for Lamb's Players Theatre

In 1997, The Endowment Trust was established by the Board of Trustees to ensure the long-term financial stability of Lamb's Players Theatre and its programs.

A separate Board of Trustees governs the
Endowment Trust, and the investment and financial advisory firm of Dowling and Yahnke, Inc. independently manages its funds.

Within the trust is a special fund, which supports LPT's Educational Programs.
The Mary-Lynn Deddeh Fund for Kids was established to provide tickets for students to attend live theatre and to provide LPT's educational programs in area schools. (Mary-Lynn has been an educator and encourager of young people her entire adult life. She is a long-time Lamb's Players Board Member and volunteer extraordinaire.)

Lamb's Players Theatre's
Encore Circle

Members of Encore Circle have committed to the future of Lamb's Players by naming LPT in their will or through a Charitable Remainder Trust or by making an outright gift to the LPT Endowment.

In association with San Diego Foundation - Endow San Diego, Lamb's Players also offers opportunities for Gift Annuities, which provide you with lifetime income while supporting the future of Lamb's Players Theatre.

Please let us know if you have named Lamb's Players Theatre in your will or estate plan so we can say "Thank You" now.

If you would like to learn more about the Encore Circle, the Endowment Trust, The Mary-Lynn Deddeh Fund for Kids, or if you have questions regarding a planned gift or bequest, pleast contact
Donor Relations.

Matching Gifts
Many companies allow employees to expand their philanthropic dollars by providing matching funds for gifts to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations like Lamb's Players Theatre. Some companies that provide matching funds include: American International Group, Caterpillar, Compaq, GlaxoSmithKlein, Merrill Lynch, Qualcomm, and SBC. Does your company have a matching gift program?

In-Kind Gifts
We are often asked if we accept gifts of furniture, clothing, household items, etc. The answer is yes...and no.

Yes, we are interested in costume accessories (gloves, hats, purses, jewelry, etc.) and vintage clothing (1960s and before).

Yes, we are interested in some household items, including furniture, if it is something we feel we can use. We seldom accept large items: sofas, beds, etc., as they take a lot of space in our storage area. But there are exceptions.

No, we are not interested in taking away every item in your Aunt Addie's attic.

If you have items you think we might be interested in, please contact
Donor Relations and tell us what you would like to donate. We will arrange to have someone look at the items (especially furniture) to determine if we can use it or not. We will then arrange to pick the items up (if they are large) or ask you to bring them to us.

Donated items will be acknowledged with a letter you can use for tax purposes. We cannot, however, place a value on items you donate.
