Tip #1 – Park Once for Dining & Show
Eat at partner restaurants and use parking deals for both dining and the show.
Valet service is available at Dakota, Dussini, JSix, McCormick & Schmick's, and Mister Tiki. Napa Valley Grille and Beach City Market validate parking for 4 hours in Horton Plaza. Athens Market, Bandar, and Café Chloe are in areas with good parking nearby. Bondi, Chive, and Dick's are close to the parking garage right across from the Theatre. Morton's offers both low price valet and free self-parking.

Tip #2 – Parking Lots & Garages
Though costing more than street parking, garages and parking lots are so convenient. Closest to the Theatre are the ACE garage directly across 4th Ave, and the '5 Star' lots at J Street & 6th Avenue, and Island & 2nd (the least expensive and the one with most consistently available spots in the area). For the ACE garage: After parking, take the elevator to the street level where you'll find a pay station. To save time, prepay for your parking right then. When leaving, insert your parking ticket then the payment stub. At the '5 Star' lots: After parking pay a flat fee at one of the machines located around the lot and put the ticket on your dash. Parking at the Convention Center is also convenient and often less expensive. Lots & garages vary in price depending on location, day of the week and downtown events (most expensive when the Padres are at Petco Park). They become less expensive as you move away from 5th Ave and Petco Park.

Tip #3 – Take the Trolley!
Save on Parking and Gas!
Park at one of the many free and convenient Trolley Station lots along the Blue, Green or Orange lines. Both the Gaslamp and Convention Center trolley stops on the Orange Line are an easy 3-block walk from the Theatre. Blue Line transfers to Orange Line at American Plaza coming from the North, and at the 12th & Imperial Transit Center coming from the South.
MTS Buses 3, 11 & 120 all serve the Gaslamp.

Tip #4 – Street Parking
San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter is always bustling, and street parking can be a challenge. If you enjoy the hunt, your best chance at finding an open spot is usually on streets to the west of 4th Ave. Remember: Green and Yellow curb zones are open for parking after 6pm, metered spots are also free then and all day Sundays.

Freeway Access:

From 5 South take the Front Street Exit, then right on Front down to the Gaslamp.

From 5 North take the J Street Exit and go to Market, then left on Market to
the Gaslamp.

163 South ends in San Diego on 10th Street, take 10th to Market or Island.

94 West ends on F Street which takes you all the way to 4th and Horton Plaza.
