We are honored that owner Mary Gluck, wanted to do something special to support LAMB’S this year. She and executive chef, the brilliant Gregory Chavez, are putting together a delicious selection of small plates that will be perfectly paired by Chris Cluck with some memorable wines. Producing Artistic Director, Robert Smyth will introduce each of the wines to you.
Throughout the evening five of the region’s best female vocalists – Joy Yandel Hricko, Megan Carmitchel, Deborah Gilmour Smyth, Caitie Grady & Kiana Bell (did you catch that great article on her in the U-T a couple of Sundays back?) will sing, along with the brilliant Scott Lacy on piano.
LAMB'S Associate Artist, David Humphrey, will also be auctioning off some very fun “Memorable Experience” packages, including get-aways and special food events with some of your favorite performers.

(Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara) Winemaker's Notes: 38% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Semillon, 22% Roussanne + 16% Viognier. Nose of ripe stone fruits and grilled baguette. Rich and bold with notes of star fruit and quince on the palate as well as the classic nutty and waxy characteristics commonly found in Rhône whites. Unctuous and stylistically unique, it will drink well over the next 8-10 years. (3 oz. pour)

(Sonoma) Winemaker's Notes: 65% Zinfandel, 17% Petite Syrah,14% Carignane + 4% Grenache. Full garnet color. Fresh raspberry and blueberry fruits, clay mineral, exotic oak spice. Rich entry with bramble fruit, chewy tannins, creamy/sweet oak, and a moderately long finish. (3 oz. pour)

NV Yalumba Antique Tawny
(Australia) Winemaker's Notes: This outstanding old dessert wine is deep tawny in color, with an aroma featuring caramel, dried fruits, and spices with elegant brandy spirits and hints of wood aged rancio. Richly flavored palate with chocolate, caramel and fine spirit characters and a persistent aftertaste of dried fruits and nutty nuts. The texture is sweet and smooth with roundness from the wood maturation and brandy spirits filling out the middle palate and providing the firm, drying finish. (2 oz. pour)
Kiana has appeared in American Rhythm and An American Christmas with Lamb's Players Theatre. She has recently performed the roles of Cleo (The Most Happy Fella), Heavenly Friend (Carousel), and Sarah's Friend (Ragtime) as well as the operatic roles of Daphnis (Daphnis et Chloé), Cendrillon (Cendrillon), and Dinah (Trouble in Tahiti). Kiana has received prizes and recognition from the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus Young Artists Competition, the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and the Metropolitan Opera National Council. Kiana recently received her Bachelors degree in Music from Point Loma Nazarene University and is currently an apprentice in San Diego Opera's newly developed university partnership, Opera Exposed!
Megan has been seen previously at Lamb's as Dorothy in Oz!, as well as in You Can't Take it a With You, Quilters, and Fiddler on the Roof. Other recent credits include: The Last Goodbye and Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (The Old Globe), Weatherman (reading; La Jolla Playhouse), The Who's Tommy (San Diego Repertory Theatre), A New Brain and Pippin (Diversionary Theatre), South Pacific and Stepping Out (Welk Resort Theatre). Megan also music directs at LEGOLAND, CA. She attended San Francisco State University where she studied vocal performance and acting.
Deborah Gilmour Smyth
Associate Artistic Director and director of Patron Services, Deborah has been a member of the Lamb’s resident ensemble since 1979 . Originally from the East Coast, she has lived all over the United States and went to school at San Francisco State University where she studied music and theatre. One of San Diego’s most active performers with over 200 productions to her credit, she is a seven-time recipient of the San Diego Theatre Critics’ Circle’s Craig Noel Award including Outstanding Lead Performance in a Play for Martha in Intrepid Theatre Company's Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf, Vivian Bearing in Lamb’s production of Wit and Outstanding Female Performance in a Musical for her performance as Mother in Ragtime at Starlight Musical Theatre, for her role of Margaret Johnson in The Light in the Piazza at Lamb’s Players, and for her role of Mrs. Lovett at Cygnet Theatre. She has been honored with Backstage West and numerous Patte awards for performance, original music, sound design. At Lamb’s Players Deborah has performed in over 160 productions, directed over 70 productions, sound designed, written original music, or musically directed over 80 productions. Deborah enjoys the opportunity to be involved in an amazing ensemble that is the Lamb’s Players family. Deborah and her husband, Producing Artistic Director Robert Smyth, make their home in Coronado.
Caitie has been in over 30 Lamb's productions since 2010! LPT favorites include Silent Sky, Equivocation, Twelfth Night, Fiddler on the Roof, American Rhythm, Quilters, Wit, Big Fish, Oz, Les Miserables, Mixtape, The Book of the Dun Cow, The Glory Man, and "100 Hours of Stories", the play reading marathon that won Lamb's Players Theatre a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. Recently, Caitie appeared as Tzeitel alongside Danny Burstein and Susan Egan in "To Life! Bock and Harnick on Broadway" with the San Diego Symphony, under the baton of Rob Fisher. Caitie has also appeared at Cygnet Theatre as Rose in Dogfight, and has participated in Cygnet's staged readings of Hair, Side by Side by Sondheim, and Evita. Caitie received her BFA from The Boston Conservatory and is a proud member of Actors Equity. All my love to Charlie!

G. Scott Lacy is thrilled to return home to Lamb’s Players Theatre. With LPT: Les Miserables (Craig Noel Award) Fiddler On The Roof (Craig Noel Nomination) An American Christmas, Festival of Christmas, Godspell, Quilters, Joseph...Dreamcoat, American Rhythm, Boomers, Amadeus, Pump Boys and Dinettes, Into The Woods, The Secret Garden, Hello, Dolly!, The Music Man, and The Light In The Piazza. Mr. Lacy has musical directed 165 productions in his award winning career, 11 recordings, 40 cabaret shows that have toured nationally and internationally, and is the creator and founding partner of SOCIETY CABARET at the Hotel Rex in San Francisco. www.societycabaret.com
Kerry wears many hats as actor, director, and playwright. She is the director of Lamb’s Educational Outreach. On staff at Lamb's since 1976, she now serves as Lamb’s Associate Artistic Director. As resident playwright, her work includes Boomers, American Rhythm, Dracula, My Asparagus Is Growing Fine and LPT’s annual Festival of Christmas. Her directing credits include MIXTAPE, Guys & Dolls, Trying, An Ideal Husband, Pretty Fire, Thunder At Dawn, Private Lives, The Boys Next Door, Amadeus, Beau Jest, The Foreigner and You Can’t Take It With You. As a performer she has been seen in such productions as The Great Divorce; Quilters; Tartuffe; Godspell; She Loves Me; A Woman of No Importance; You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown; Till We Have Faces; Pump Boys and Dinettes; Into The Woods; Hello, Dolly!; Boomers, The Hit, Leaving Iowa, Harvey , The Music Man and See How They Run and Dinner with Marlene.
is LAMB's Producing Artistic Director. He joined the staff of Lamb's Players Street Theatre as an actor and director in 1976. In 1978 LAMB'S opened its first resident theatre in National City, and then in 1994 brought the old performance space in Coronado's historic Spreckel's Building back to life as its new home. Robert has directed more than 150 productions for LAMB'S, and performed in over 100, including favorite roles in A Midsummer Night's Dream, 1776, Cyrano De Bergerac, The Boys Next Door, and the one-man show Damien. He and his wife, director, actor, composer, Deborah Gilmour Smyth, make their home in Coronado.
Joy Yandell Hricko
Joy is excited to be spend Christmas, once again, with her Lamb’s Players family and with all of you! Recently, Joy had the honor of playing Mrs. Wilkinson in San Diego Musical Theatre’s acclaimed production of Billy Elliot and Violet Newstead in 9 to 5! She also had her New York Debut this past summer as a member of the new civil rights musical, Freedom Riders at NYMF. Favorite credits include; Jersey Boys, Dracula the Musical, MiXtape (Craig Noel Award), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, American Rhythm, Cabaret, I Love You, You're Perfect Now Change, Beehive, the 60's Musical (Patté Award), On the Road to Woodstock, Annie Get Your Gun, Dancing at Lughnasa and Man of La Mancha.
