This year's delightful new FESTIVAL story - NORTH OF NORMAL: A FARGO CHRISTMAS - is packed with gorgeous music of the Season!
What do a rising star, a real estate mogul, a precocious child and an octogenarian all have in common? They are looking at the same “dream” property to be their new home by Christmas. As you might suspect, this leads to hilarious misunderstandings and joyous discoveries.

Steve was recently seen as the Siren in Shockheaded Peter at Cygnet Theatre. As a musician, Steve has worked and played with Pete Townshend, Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors, John Wesley of Porcupine Tree, Alex Lifeson, Micky Dolenz, Jung-Ho Pak and many others. Caitie is grateful to have been cast in over 30 Lamb’s Players productions since 2010! Favorites include Silent Sky, Equivocation, Twelfth Night, Fiddler on the Roof, American Rhythm, Wit, Les Miserables, Mixtape, Book of the Dun Cow, The Glory Man, and "100 Hours of Stories," the play-reading marathon that landed Lamb’s a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for longest theatrical performance. Recently, she performed alongside Danny Burstein and Susan Egan in "To Life! Bock and Harnick on Broadway" with the San Diego Symphony, under the baton of Rob Fisher. Caitie has also appeared at Cygnet Theatre as Rose Fenny in Dogfight, and in Cygnet’s concert readings of Hair, Side by Side by Sondheim, and Evita. BFA: The Boston Conservatory. Lauren King Thompson
Lauren is delighted to spend another Christmas season at Lamb's! Michael is proud to return to Lamb's Players where he spent a spectacular summer in Big Fish as Will Bloom and performed last year in American Rhythm. Michael was most recently seen in Diversionary’s West Coast Premiere of Homos, or Everyone in America. Other SoCal credits include Spamalot (Lancelot) at Moonlight Amphitheatre, Last Night in Town (Ben) with SDMT, The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff) and On the 20th Century (Bruce Granit) at Cygnet, Metamorphoses (Orpheus) at Santa Barbara Ensemble Theatre, The 39 Steps (clown) at Glendale Centre Theatre and Grease (Danny Zuko) at Cabrillo Music Theatre. New York City credits include Titus Andronicus (Marcus), world premiere of The Haunted Train (Dr Barnes) and Chien de Moi at La MaMa ETC. TV: Devil in the Details on Investigation Discovery. Michael is a BFA grad of Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

Benjamin Roy is extremely excited to be back with Lamb’s Players Theatre performing at his favorite time of the year. He began his performance career at the early age of four, singing in the Bayview Baptist Church choir. Since then, he has developed a love for theater. Joy Yandell Hricko
Joy is excited to be spend Christmas, once again, with her Lamb’s Players family and with all of you! Recently, Joy had the honor of playing Mrs. Wilkinson in San Diego Musical Theatre’s acclaimed production of Billy Elliot and Violet Newstead in 9 to 5! She also had her New York Debut this past summer as a member of the new civil rights musical, Freedom Riders at NYMF. Since 1984 Mike has designed over 200 productions at Lamb's in addition to many shows at such companies as San Diego Rep, The Laguna Playhouse and the Old Globe/USD MFA program. Recent favorites include sets for The Explorer's Club, Beau Jest, and Shadowlands here at Lamb's and set and lights for Godspell at Southwestern College where he teaches technical theatre, scriptwriting and design. Also a playwright, his romantic comedy The Hit had an extended run at Lamb's Coronado Theatre and then the Horton Grand Theatre and his set for The Hit earned Mike his fifth Patte Award. As an actor, Mike has appeared in many shows at Lamb's. Favorites include The Nerd, The Hit, Joseph…, Beau Jest, Johnny Pye and the Foolkiller, The Secret Garden, Boomers and My Fair Lady. He also appeared in Crazy For You at Moonlight. TV credits include Wicked, Wicked Games as well as several commercials. Mike also designs residential interiors through his business Weekend Makeover.
Patrick J. Duffy
Patrick was last seen as Bernardo in West Side Story here, and his other favorite roles have been MacDuff in Macbeth at Intrepid, and Hyde in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at Ion. Other stage credits here at Lamb's include Pete N Keely, The Book of the Dun Cow, Smoke on the Mountain ‘04 & ‘10, Festival of Christmas ‘08, The Voysey Inheritance, An Ideal Husband, Cold Comfort Farm, South Pacific, and Rehearsal for Murder (which he also stage managed and sound designed). He recently won the Craig Noel "Outstanding Sound Design" award for Les Misérables, and his other sound credits here are MIXTAPE, Fiddler on the Roof, Pump Boys & Dinettes, Godspell, Boomers, The Fantasticks, The Light in the Piazza, Joseph ‘07 and ‘15, American Rhythm ‘06 at the Lyceum, The Secret Garden, and Enchanted April. Properties and PA Rachel Hengst has worked with Lambs Players Theater since 2013. She made her professional theater debut in Mixtape as the Assistant Stage Manager and has learned so much since then. Her Prop Design credits include Lamb's Player's productions of You Can't Take it With You, West Side Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz, the latest incarnation of Mixtape, The Nerd, Miracle Worker, Dinner with Marlene, Beau Jest, Shadowlands, Silent Sky, Big Fish, The Explorer's Club, and Smoke on the Mountain. She thanks her family for their endless support and for God's guidance in her life.

Musical Direction, Original Songs & Arrangements, Sound Design include: Big River (New Village), First Date (SDMT), Traditions of Christmas (CCT), Wit, Twelfth Night, Joseph, Mixtape, Guys & Dolls, Pete n’ Keely, Festival of Christmas 2007-17 (Lamb’s Players). Composes music/lyrics for youth musicals produced nationally. Kerry wears many hats as actor, director, and playwright. She is the director of Lamb’s Educational Outreach. On staff at Lamb's since 1976, she now serves as Lamb’s Associate Artistic Director. As resident playwright, her work includes Boomers, American Rhythm, Dracula, My Asparagus Is Growing Fine and LPT’s annual Festival of Christmas. Her directing credits include MIXTAPE, Guys & Dolls, Trying, An Ideal Husband, Pretty Fire, Thunder At Dawn, Private Lives, The Boys Next Door, Amadeus, Beau Jest, The Foreigner and You Can’t Take It With You. As a performer she has been seen in such productions as The Great Divorce; Quilters; Tartuffe; Godspell; She Loves Me; A Woman of No Importance; You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown; Till We Have Faces; Pump Boys and Dinettes; Into The Woods; Hello, Dolly!; Boomers, The Hit, Leaving Iowa, Harvey , The Music Man and See How They Run and Dinner with Marlene.
Light Designer / Technical Director
a graduate of Biola University, Nate is Lamb’s Director of Production. He has been with Lamb’s since 1982 working as photographer, set construction, lighting designer and performer.
Jeanne's work as a designer this year in San Diego includes Shadowlands for Lambs Players, On the 20th Century for Cygnet Theatre, The Perfect Arrangement and Buddy Holly for Intrepid Theatre, She designed last year's Lambs production of American Rhythm for which she received a Critics Circle, Craig Noel Nomination. Her work has achieved theater critics awards in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara. Other productions awarded for costume design include her original designs for The Wonderful World of Oz, A Servant Of Two Masters, The Light in the Piazza, Little Foxes, Joyful Noise, Metamorphosis, and two dozen other productions. Besides designing she currently teaches at San Diego Mesa College.
