BASH & SLAM!

 

BASH is Back By Popular Demand! Lamb’s Players Educational Outreach brings back its most requested production from its critical issues/critical choices series! We've also added a Middle School appropriate version called SLAM! BASH and SLAM are interactive experiences that explores the challenge of conflict resolution within a variety of situations that kids deal with everyday. 

These programs supplement the common core curriculum in language and performing arts through a high energy blend of language arts, percussion, and audience participation …

 

BASH & SLAM  address the issues of:

 

  • BULLYING and provides practical strategies to deal with it

  • BOREDOM and approaches it with creativity and imagination

  • PEER PRESSURE and encourages respect for one another


BASH & SLAM also highlight the value of:

 

  • COOPERATION and teamwork

  • COMMUNITY and diversity


BASH (appropriate for K-5) SLAM (appropriate for 6-8) are each 40 minutes in length a and assist teachers in addressing Academic Content Standards, supplementing curriculum in literature, and performing arts. 

 

We Bring: Set, Lights, Costumes, Sound System, and we use your stage or floor. We need approximately 18x18 feet of flat indoor space, with access to two electrical outlets on separate breakers. 

 

Cost: $295 (Any additional same-day shows, $195) Grants from our Funding Partners have made some free performances available for San Diego County schools where enrollment in free lunch programs exceeds 50%. Please inquire if your school qualifies!

 

San Diego Service Organizations (Rotary, Soroptimist, Optimists etc)  - please call about your COMPLIMENTARY performance.  We'd love to come to your meeting to perform 30 minute of highlights from each show and share stories about the impact of our performances.

Patrick J. Duffy

Patrick's favorite roles have been MacDuff in Macbeth at Intrepid, and Hyde in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at Ion. Other stage credits here at Lamb's include Pete N Keely, The Book of the Dun Cow, Smoke on the Mountain ‘04 & ‘10, Festival of Christmas ‘08, The Voysey Inheritance, An Ideal Husband, Cold Comfort Farm, South Pacific, and Rehearsal for Murder (which he also stage managed and sound designed). He recently won the Craig Noel "Outstanding Sound Design" award for Les Misérables, and his other sound credits here are MIXTAPE, Fiddler on the Roof, Pump Boys & Dinettes, Godspell, Boomers, The Fantasticks, The Light in the Piazza, Joseph ‘07 and ‘15, American Rhythm ‘06 at the Lyceum, The Secret Garden, and Enchanted April. When not on stage or designing, he can be found building sets or as Lamb’s Audio Master. Patrick is thankful for all His blessings in his life, and wishes you the same. Thanks for coming by, enjoy!

Erika Osuna is thrilled to be working with Lambs Players working along side such a talented cast. Along with her training in LA at the American musical academy (AMDA) you may have seen her perform around all parts of San Diego including Sea World, Legoland and most recently as Maureen in southwestern college's production of RENT. She would like to thank the Smyth's for the opportunity and her family and friends for their endless love and support.

Jennifer Paredes

Jennifer Paredes is thrilled to be working with Lambs Players Theatre. Most recently she has appeared in The Nutcracker at New Village Arts Theatre. She was also recently in several staged readings including Lydia and Upon the Fragile Shore at Ion Theatre and The Picture of Dorian Gray with New Fortune Theatre. Other local theatre credits include Slaves (Amigos Del Rep), Logan Heights (Onstage Playhouse), and The Shape of Things (University of San Diego). Local film credits include “Weigh Down”, and “South of 8”. Jennifer has a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Performance Studies from University of San Diego. She sends much love and light to her mentors at MCIT Studio and ion Theatre for their guidance and encouragement. Blessings to those who have supported her on this crazy and intense journey. Connor Sullivan

Connor could not be more excited to perform with Lamb's Players! San Diego credits include Mannequins (Cygnet Theatre) and Unplugged (Scripps Ranch Theatre). A recent graduate from the University of San Diego appearing in The Government Inspector, The Anatomy of Grey, and Eurydice. A huge thank you to my family and friends for always being there to support, to my teachers for all the help along the way, and to Kerry for this amazing opportunity!

Edred is overjoyed to be working with Lambs Players Theatre. Recent Credits: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Lamb's Players Theatre) Bash/Slam Jam Educational Tour (Lamb's Players Theatre), The Nutcracker (New Village Arts), Luce (Old Globe Theatre), Weatherman (La Jolla Playhouse), Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream: The Musical (Intrepid), Tartuffe (USD MFA Production). He also currently performs at Legoland in The Big Test. Edred holds a BA in Theatre from the University of San Diego. He is elated to be working with such a hilarious and ridiculously talented cast and would like to thank Lambs Players Theatre for giving him this incredible opportunity. Lastly, he would like to thank God, friends, and his family for all their love and support over the years. :)
