Summer

Season Marshall


is a proud member of Lamb's Resident Acting Ensemble! Some of her favorite roles include Denise in Smoke on the Mountain ('99, '04 and '10), Clara in The Light in the Piazza, Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Martha in The Secret Garden, Samm in The Hit, Prudie in Pump Boys and Dinettes, and being a part of many Festival of Christmas productions. Other productions at Lamb's Players Theatre include Hello, Dolly!, American Rhythm, Cold Comfort Farm, Tarantara! Tarantara!, Rehearsal for Murder, An Ideal Husband, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Voysey Inheritance and several performances of An American Christmas. Season also loves being a part of Lamb's Sunday Evening Cabaret series. When not on stage she teaches voice lessons, coaches and mentors young people who have been bitten with the performing bug.

Leonard Patton


has worked as a professional singer, actor, and composer in San Diego for many years and has been a familiar face as a Lamb’s Players Associate Artist in many productions including Hello Dolly, Godspell, Boomers, Festival of Christmas, and Pump Boys and Dinettes. He is also a regular performer in Lamb’s Players Sunday Evening Cabaret. Leonard, along with ensemble member Jon Lorenz, produced and recorded the much anticipated and highly acclaimed “Lamb’s Players Festival of Christmas” CD (get an early Christmas gift!). Leonard just released the follow-up to his jazz album titled “Outside The Box” which is an ambitious all-vocal project. He enjoys being a worship leader, a teacher at SDSU, an avid sports fan, a proud husband, and a father of 3. He also holds the only master’s degree in jazz studies from SDSU as a vocalist. As Mr. T would say, “I pity the fool who doesn’t see this show!!!”

Jon Lorenz


is a member of Lamb's Players Theatre’s Resident Ensemble. Lamb's Players credits include original songs and music arrangements for Festival of Christmas ‘07-‘09, The Fantasticks, Godspell, and Joseph, and Sound Design for The Hit, Room Service and An Ideal Husband. He holds a BA in directing from Cal State Fullerton, a minor in music from Chapman University, and is very passionate about music, theatre, storytelling and the impact it has on audiences of all ages. Jon’s directing credits include Love’s Fire (Cal State Fullerton), Looking Glass Girl (Lyceum Theatre), and 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Annie Get Your Gun, and Bye Bye Birdie for CCT. Jon has composed music and lyrics for numerous musicals produced locally and nationally by Christian Youth Theatre, including Little Women and The Legend of Pocahontas. His latest musical, Alice, for which he wrote book, music, and lyrics, was selected by Stephen Schwartz to be a part of the 2005 ASCAP/Disney Musical Theater Workshop and is being produced by NYU this fall. Special thanks to his son, Hudson and his new wife, Julie, who live with him in their house, in the middle of the street. You’re the Inspiration.

Karyn Overstreet


made her Broadway debut in the tenth anniversary production of Les Misérables. She has performed on the national tours of Jekyll & Hyde (Lucy u/s) and Barry Manilow’s Copacabana (Lola u/s), as well as leading and supporting roles in regional theatres across the U.S. including Papermill Playhouse (Annie) and North Shore Music Theatre (Cinderella) and Old Globe Theatre (The Grinch That Stole Christmas). In New York, Ms. Overstreet has appeared in concerts with City Center Encores! (Strike Up The Band, A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, A New Moon) and at Carnegie Hall (Tip-Toes). Television audiences will recognize her as the host on New York’s Metro Guide channel and on the PBS Great Performances broadcast of The Rodgers & Hart Story: Thou Swell, Thou Witty. You can hear her voice on the cast albums of Tip-Toes, Strike Up the Band, Red Head and radio spots. Ms. Overstreet teaches private voice lessons in San Diego. www.karynoverstreet.com.

Is thrilled to return to MiXtape after playing Sally Bowles in Cygnet Theatre's hit production of Cabaret. Lamb's appearances include the original cast of MiXtape for which she was awarded the San Diego Critics Circle award for her performance as Allison, Festival of Christmas '09, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and An American Christmas, as well as regular appearances with the Lamb's Sunday Night Cabaret series and as a vocalist on the BEST of Festival Christmas CD. Regional credits include the Original Cast of Frank Wildhorn's Dracula, the Musical and Jersey Boys at the La Jolla Playhouse; Janis Joplin in Beehive, the 60's Musical with Miracle Theatre Productions (Patté Award); Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun (Welk Resort Theatre); Woman #2 in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Welk Resort, Candlelight Pavilion, Starlight); Man of La Mancha, Brilliant Traces (North Coast Rep); Other credits include Polly in Crazy For You, Christina in Dancing at Lughnasa and Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker. an Associate Artist with Lamb's Players Theatre, Marci was last seen as Rhetta Cupp in Pump Boys and Dinettes at the Horton Grand, where she also appeared in a year long stint as Susan in Boomers. Favorite Regional credits include Desiree Armfeldt (San Diego Critics Circle and Patté Awards) in A Little Night Music (Cygnet Theatre at Old Town), Vicki Nichols in The Full Monty (San Diego Musical Theatre), Elena Guarnerri in The Magic Fire (KPBS Patte Award), Agnes in I Do! I Do!, Renebelle in Radio Gals (Moonlight Stage Productions), Ilona Ritter in She Loves Me (Laguna Playhouse), Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes (Welk Resort Theatre), Sarah in Company (Performance Riverside) and Deirdre in I Hate Hamlet (The Broadway Theatre). Taylor Peckham


is thrilled to be here at the Horton Grand, as a part of the spandex-sporting, jazzer-cizing, and long-running phenomenon that is miXtape! As a proud Associate Artist with Lamb's Players, he recently served as assistant musical director, dance arranger, orchestrator and accompanist of Lamb's Summer blockbuster The Music Man at their theatre in Coronado. He also will be serving that same position in January with the first show of the Lamb's 2012 season: Guys and Dolls. As well as being a musical director, Taylor is also a working composer whose score to the student film Amira won the 'Gold Medal in Musical Excellence' at the Park City Music Festival this past Summer. Thanks to Jon, Kerry, everyone at Lamb's for their constant support, and God for His many blessings.

Joseph Pfeifer


is a singer/songwriter who has been involved in the San Diego music scene for the past 10 years. Most recently he was billed at the San Diego Indie Fest and the Temecula Int'l Film Festival. He has been a worship leader for over 16 years and teaches guitar at Horizon Christian Academy. Joseph released his debut album "Good Company" in early 2010, receiving great acclaim and various awards including First Place in the Gospel/Christian category in the International Songwriting Competition, which New York Times has called "the songwriting competition to take note of." He is lead vocalist and co-writer for a new music project entitled The Joy Eternal. He was a member of Lamb's Players Touring Company in 2008, performing in the educational outreach productions, SLAM JAM and Early American Voices, at various schools throughout San Diego County. He is very honored to join the cast of MIXTAPE. Joseph would like to thank his extraordinary wife who is "my armorbearer".

Oliver Shirley


an Associate Artist at Lamb's Players Theatre, received his Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State and a Master's from UCSD where he studied with world renowned bassist Bertram Turetzky. Oliver toured nine years with the U.S. Navy Band and played the 1990 Montreux Jazz Festival with trumpet legend Clark Terry. Oliver has been heard at theatres throughout San Diego. LPT productions include the 1993 premiere of Boomers, Pump Boys and Dinettes, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Quilters, American Rhythm, 1776, Pippin, Hello Dolly!, South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Into the Woods, The Secret Garden, She Loves Me, Godspell, Private Lives and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

Matthias Villwock


was born in Wiesbaden Germany, June 16 1991, and has been living in the San Diego area for the past 18 years. Matthias is currently studying voice and drums at SDSU under Enrique Toral and Mike Holguin respectively, as well as working as the bass section leader at St. Peter's Church in Del Mar. For the past 15 years, Matthias has also studied drums with Duncan Moore, Tim McMahon, and Will Parsons, as well as voice with Dr. William Eichorn. When Matthias isn't performing, practicing, or attending school, he likes spending time with his family which might entail playing tennis or enjoying a weekend barbecue.



Director

Kerry Meads


wears many hats as actor, director, and playwright. Kerry is the director of Lamb’s Players Theatres Educational Outreach. On staff at Lamb's Players Theatre since 1976, she now serves as LPT’s Associate Artistic Director. As resident playwright, her work includes Boomers, American Rhythm, Dracula, My Asparagus Is Growing Fine and LPT’s annual Festival of Christmas. Her directing credits include An Ideal Husband, Pretty Fire, Thunder At Dawn, Private Lives, The Boys Next Door, Amadeus, Beau Jest, The Foreigner and You Can’t Take It With You. As a performer she has been seen in such productions as The Great Divorce; Quilters; Tartuffe; Godspell; She Loves Me; A Woman of No Importance; You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown; Till We Have Faces; Pump Boys and Dinettes; Into The Woods; Hello, Dolly!; Boomers, The Hit, and Leaving Iowa.

Colleen Kollar Smith


is a member of Lamb's Players Theatre’s Resident Ensemble and has been seen in Smoke on the Mountain, The Rivalry, Joyful Noise, Leaving Iowa, The Voysey Inheritance, Hello, Dolly!, An Ideal Husband, Susan and God, Life X 3, Amadeus, The Winslow Boy, Metamorphoses, Rehearsal for Murder, Smoke on the Mountain, Detective Story, and 1776, as well as having choreographed Godspell, Hello, Dolly!, Light in the Piazza, Joseph And the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pump Boys and Dinettes, and An American Christmas. She received the Craig Noel award for her role in Cygnet Theatre’s Bed & Sofa. This fall Colleen will begin the Master’s in Non-Profit Leadership and Management program at USD. Thanks to husband Lance Arthur Smith who continues to Take Her Breath Away and daughter Carmen Scotland - Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.

Mike Buckley


Since 1984 Mike has designed over 150 productions at Lamb’s Players Theatre in addition to many shows at such companies as Moonlight Stage Productions, The Welk Resort Theatre, San Diego Rep, The Laguna Playhouse and the Old Globe/USD MFA program. Recent favorites include sets for High School Musical at Starlight, lights for Culture Clash dance company and props for "Monster Quest" on The History Channel. He is especially proud of his set for Harvey at LPT’s Coronado stage and hopes you’ll check it out during its run. Also a playwright, his romantic comedy The Hit had an extended run at the Horton Grand Theatre after premiering at LPT’s Coronado stage, and his set for The Hit earned Mike his fifth Patté Award. As an actor, Mike has appeared in many shows at LPT. Favorites include The Hit, Joseph…, Beau Jest, Johnny Pye and the Foolkiller, The Secret Garden, and My Fair Lady. On TV he has appeared in “Wicked, Wicked Games” as well as several commercials. Mike also designs residential interiors through his business Weekend Makeover.

Michael McKeon


is the owner of bang! Media Productions, a San Diego-based marketing design company specializing in event and trade show design and collateral. He is an avid Photographer, Videographer and “maker of things.” Michael has been honored to work with LPT as a Stage Manager, Properties Design, Scenic Design and Scenic Artist for various shows including The Rivalry, Pump Boys & Dinettes, An American Christmas, Festival of Christmas, Leaving Iowa, Godspell, The Fantasticks, The Glass Menagerie and The Light In The Piazza. Other scenic design credits include: Killer Joe - San Diego Critics Circle Award (Compass), Side Man (Diversionary), assisting on High School Musical (Starlight), I Love a Piano (Welk Resort), and Scenic & Property Design for The Twenty Year Package and SuperHero (Compass).

Jemima Dutra


A graduate from Allan Hancock College earning her Associates Degree in Fashion Studies with Honors and Certificate of Fashion Design with Honors from Fashion Careers College, Jemima has showcased her designs at local San Diego fashion venues, has been featured in 944 magazine, and The Social Diary. She has recently worked as an Assistant Costume Designer to Jeanne Reith for Lamb's Players Theatre’s An American Christmas, Room Service, The Glass Menagerie, and The Fantasticks. Costume design credits include: Hip Pocket for LPT's educational outreach touring show, All This and Moonlight at Scripps Ranch Theater, Old Wicked Songs and Talley's Folly at North Coast Rep, and Side Man for Bang! Productions.

Rachael Campbell


began her theatrical journey in the early 90s as a volunteer for Lamb's Players Theatre. Through the years, she learned much about the creative process from the talented staff at Lamb's. She graduated from UCSD with a BA in theatre in 2002 and is thrilled to be back with LPT. To be incorporated as part of the creative team that she learned so much from is an honor and a privilege. She currently lives in Phoenix and owns Keylight Concepts, a design company, and works around the country in many aspects of production.

Patrick Duffy


has most recently been seen on stage in Joyful Noise. Other stage credits here include Festival of Christmas ‘08, The Voysey Inheritance, An Ideal Husband, Cold Comfort Farm, Smoke on the Mountain ‘04, South Pacific, and Rehearsal for Murder (which he also stage managed and sound designed). As a resident Sound Designer, his sound credits here at LPT are Pump Boys & Dinettes, Godspell, Boomers, The Fantasticks, The Light in the Piazza, Joseph ‘07, American Rhythm ‘06 at the Lyceum, The Secret Garden, and Enchanted April. When not on stage or designing, he can be found building sets or as LPT’s Audio Master. Patrick is thankful for all His blessings in his life, and wishes you the same. Thanks for coming by, enjoy!

Brad Davis

is thrilled to return to Lamb’s Players stage. Brad was most recently seen in CCT’s return to Mt. Helix production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is an Artistic Associate and Director for Christian Youth Theater, and thanks them for the opportunity to allow outside ventures. After performing thousands of shows at Sea World in the Sea Lion and Otter show as a Mime and performer, Brad has found his greatest love in his instructional drum website/Youtube sensation “Adventure Drums.” He thanks the Artistic team, Alexis, His family, and God.
